Here are some tips to help you take great care of your doll's hair!

Brushing
Use a new brush and we recommend not using your own brush because the natural oils from human hair may eventually damage the fibre of your doll's hair. We suggest a wire wig brush.
For brushing we suggest separating the hair and taking a small strip. Begin from the bottom and work your way up. It's not a good idea to brush from the top down as this puts stress on the hair. A fine spray of water is helpful when styling doll hair.
We recommend keeping your doll's hair tied back to keep it from collecting dust and dirt when you are playing with her. The best way to keep your doll's hair from getting in a mess is to put it in pig tails or a pony tail or braids.
Washing
Swish the hair (avoid soaking the wig cap or getting water in eyes) in a basin with some shampoo and repeat with some conditioner.
Hang the doll upside down to drip dry the hair or pat carefully between towels.
Never rub the hair.
Matilda's Hair
It is best not to brush Matilda's hair if you want to keep the curls in.
Matilda's curly hair is similar to human curly hair, when brushed it will frizz. However, it can be wet and scrunched to help restore the curls. If the owner wants to do things with Matilda's hair her hair can be braided and put in tails.
To restore the curls swish the hair (avoid soaking the wig cap or getting water in eyes) in a basin with some shampoo and repeat with some conditioner in the water then when water has stopped dripping scrunch hair and put the hair net on until dry or wind in thin strands on a pencil and clip each curl down until dry with bobby pins or use thin sponge rollers. When completely dry remove the pins or rollers and shake the curls down.
NEVER use any heat on the hair because it is a synthetic fibre and will be damaged by heat.
Avoid leaving your doll in the sun or in a hot car.
